Yesterday, Luohu police reported a case of counterfeit registered trademarks producing famous brand jewellery. The police took compulsory measures against 17 suspects and seized about 60 pieces of various types of gold jewellery. According to the police, both factories have obtained production rights, but illegally profiting from counterfeiting well-known trademarks under unauthorized circumstances reflects the weak legal awareness of operators and producers.
There are many jewellery manufacturers in the Dongxiao Police Station in Luohu District. They provide products for large and small jewellery brands in the form of order processing. However, the Dongxiao police station recently found that two processing plants were suspected of producing counterfeit branded jewellery without authorization, including many world famous brands such as Cartier and Hermes. After clearing the clues, on August 19th, the police came to the 4th floor of Mingze Building in Buxin Road to investigate Xinhongfu Jewelry and Chuangmei Jewelry, and seized a batch of gold jewelry and semi-finished products on the spot. Forty people were taken back to the police station for censorship and eventually imposed compulsory measures on 17 people.
When the police handled the case, it was found that, except for the operator who knew that the act was illegal, most employees of the processing plant did not think that they had to bear legal responsibility. "There is a boss who has full responsibility for what happened, and it doesn't matter to me," a worker who was nearly 40 years old told the police. According to the police, jewellery production has high technical requirements. These production workers can be described as "skilled", but they fall into such a situation because of their weak legal consciousness. The police advise relevant parties to actively consult legal professionals before engaging in similar industries to prevent misconduct.
